Last Saturday our crew went on an outing to the Children's Museum with a couple of friends. It was fun to see how the kids perceived work in the building and construction-themed activity stations. They seemed to have a great time. I learned something about each of the kids from watching them. E is a great observer and understands more than we sometimes think at his young age, L chose to work alone building elaborate block structures for part of the time, A often took the role of a leader, inviting others to participate and H saw a need for structure and regulation in his play activities--he kept putting up pylons to route the other exhibit visitors where he wished them. Impressive kids!
