Valentines Day was a month ago, so I guess it's a good time to post about it. At the time, Anna had been craving the lemon berry slushies made at the Sonic drive-in food chain, but there are none around here. I was able to find some recipes online that claimed to be similar to Sonic's concoction and determined that I would satisfy my Valentine's taste buds. While in route to pick up our traditional Valentines Day Chinese take out, I stopped at a nearby grocery store and bought fresh lemons and strawberries. Scooping fresh snow from the backyard completed my list of ingredients, and we enjoyed delicious lemon-berry slushies for our dinner-date.
