Our son wanted to participate in the elementary school talent show by telling a few jokes in a sort of comedy routine. The video I took of him was too big to load here (or some other unknown reason that it won't work to upload), so I'll list his jokes below. There were two performances: one at school for all the children during school hours and another in the evening for parents following the PTA meeting. During the school-day event the good-natured principal had to come on stage to hush the children from their continuos giggling so Henri could proceed with all his jokes. During the evening performance the 'butcher' joke laughter lasted quite a while too.

While he and his sister had a tryout and two rehearsals to practice we have joked for years that the regular dinner guests we invite into our home get "dinner and a show", so really they've been gearing up for this for quite a while. We are grateful to the teachers who worked hard to provide this opportunity for the children and we are very proud of both of the kids for their display of courage and talent!

I’m going to tell you a few jokes.

Wow, she did good. I love how the boys get roudier when she sings "come what may"-she has a good little voice.
